Attention NJPHA High Score Awards Members!

The NJPHA has adopted a major change to the High Score points year.

For the 2007 High Score year, the show year will begin on December 1, 2006 and end on August 31, 2007. This will be a shortened show year.

The 2008 and all subsequent show years will begin on September 1 and end on August 31.

Trainers and exhibitors please make note of this change and make sure that your memberships for the 2008 show year are renewed early.

NJPHA SPECIFICATION CHANGE

Pre-Adult Hunter to become unrestricted Low Adult Amateur Hunter

The NJPHA has adopted a major change to the Pre-Adult Hunter division. The new specification is as follows and will be effective December 1, 2006.

Low Adult Amateur Hunter: Open to horses or ponies ridden by adult riders who are considered amateurs according to USEF Rules. Rider may NOT cross-enter any class or division at the same show where fences are 3’ or higher. Fences 2’6”.

Exhibitors please note: During the 2007 show year (December 1, 2006-August 31, 2007) we will honor points for divisions entitled Pre-Adult Hunter in order to allow show management to transition to the new spec. These divisions will be unrestricted and open to all adult amateur riders.

As of September 1, 2007 any adult hunter division entitled Pre-Adult Hunter and/or specifying ribbons-won limit will not count for NJPHA points.
