The Holiday Season is upon us. It seems to sneak up on us faster every year. The NJPHA wishes you and yours all the blessings and sentiments of the season. Take a breath and enjoy!

Because of the year-end change of the NJPHA High Score Awards Program To August 31st, The Awards Dinner was held on Sunday, December 2nd at the Freehold Gardens. The weather was not terribly cooperative but most braved the elements to have a good time partying with their fellow horsemen. It was a great time. The awards were beautiful! The raffle prizes were wonderful! And the DJ played great dancing music.

Congratulations to all the ribbon winners and to all the high score participants. Everyone is a winner who enjoys and shares their love of horses.

Thanks to Rick's Saddle Shop for the High Point Buckets and certificates. Thanks also to Stitching Horse Leathers, Beval's Saddlery, the Tack Shelter, Horsemen's Outlet and Coach Stop Saddlery for their wonderful donations to our raffle. Thank you also to the following horse shows for donating a division at their horse show to our raffle. It is always a popular prize!

Kudos and Thank You for all your hard work in making the NJPHA High Score Awards Dinner such a great success to Kathy Pinera, Yvonne Abel, Randi Knabe, Adele Murphy, Mimi Kesselman and Linda Leiter-Hines.

For many reasons the NJPHA has decided to go back to our old dates for the High Score Awards Program. So for the 2008 show season, the year will run from September 1, 2007 to November 30, 2008. The Awards Banquet will be held again in early February. Sorry for any confusion. But do remember to join for 2008. There is a high score application on this web site. Or you can join at any horse show that offers NJPHA points with the show secretary.

The meetings of the NJPHA are held on the first Monday of the month at the Peterpank Diner in Sayreville, NJ on Route 9 South just off the Garden State Parkway. They start at 7:30PM. We would love to see you there. All are welcome!
